This memorial website was created to remember our dearest

                                      Grandma Louise

Better known as Lillian Louise Adnum (Powell). She made her Mother and Father's day, the day she was born, on August 12 1938 and sadden our lives when she passed peacefully on October 16, 2018.

Louise, was a daughter who adored her parents and did everything she could for them until the time of their passing...she never stop speaking and sharing memories of them to anybody who was interested in listening...she is with them again...for eternity

Louise was a sister to 5 brothers and 1 sister...and adored by her sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws...she held the family together after the passing of her parents and she knew everyone's birthday, anniversary and death dates...she was in inspiration to them all.

Louise married the love of her life...David Adnum...they got to know each other for 1 1/2 years before they got married...and then they spent 61 1/2 years married until her passing...those years were spent not only loving one another...but their 4 daughters and their husbands...and children...and grandchildren

She was blessed with many nieces and nephews and friends...

My Mother, was number 1...in everything she did...if she couldn't do something she wouldn't and if she did something it had to be done perfect...she could wrap a present and you wouldn't see where the lines joined on the paper and there wouldn't be a crease any where...her cupboards where all kept in order and neat as a pin...towels and linen were folded as if they came from a dry cleaners...etc

Her life was surrounded by her family...we were her world...and we were so blessed...

When her oldest Granddaughter, Angie-Robert passed away October 9th, 2004...her life was shattered...her heart broken...and an emptiness nothing could fill...except for writing candles for hundreds of Angels who passed away...she was devoted to writing them every night for years...she couldn't do it after she got cancer...she thought of them for the last 3 1/2 years...and hopefully now she is among them all.

Our lives are not the same without her here physically....but spirtually she is with us always...for her daughters who were attached to her imbitical cord at birth...when it was cut...somehow a little piece that was left attached got attatched to her heart and we were never seperated. She lives on in our heart and mind and never will she ever leave that place....

Heaven sure is lucky to have my Mom there...as were lucky to have her here on earth.

R.I.P. Mom...and send me some signs...

Hugs and love always
